Fukushima Workers Trying to Stop New Radioactive Water Leak from Reaching Ocean [Japan]

According to the New York Times, emergency workers at Fukushima are working to stop a new radioactive water leak from reaching the Pacific ocean. They are building barriers using sandbags and preparing water tanks for storage. Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan said his government is now in "a state of maximum alert (which begs the question: What other state they were previously in?). More »
